A tão aguardada cena de sexo de André (Caio Blat) e Tolentino (Ricardo Pereira) foi ao ar no capítulo de "Liberdade, Liberdade" desta terça-feira (12) e movimentou as redes sociais. Chateado com a fuga de Ascensão (Zezé Polessa) da cadeia e com as constantes humilhações que vem sofrendo de Rubião (Mateus Solano), o coronel recebeu a visita de André em seu quarto. Entre uma conversa, desabafos e elogios, os dois não resistiram e se entregaram a paixão.

Algumas piadas, memes e comentários sobre a reação da "família tradicional brasileira" ao ver a cena também movimentaram o Twitter. "Já comecei a brindar o tombo da família tradicional brasileira", escreveu uma internauta.
A Globo disse que a "novela se propõe a discutir a intolerância de maneira geral. Os preconceitos que geram violência. Não importa se a questão é de gênero, raça ou econômica. O que se quer mostrar é que ainda hoje vemos demonstrações dessa intolerância subjacente em nossa sociedade".

Esse crescente da relação é visível. The love which exist there is beautiful and brings a lot what the novel defends: the fight against preconception, against the intolerance and for the equality between all people" comments.

Caio Blat está feliz por estar representando essa história e orgulhoso de interpretar André. "Contribui num sentimento geral da novela de tratar de diversas formas de preconceito, de discriminação. Eu acho que esta é uma novela madura, as pessoas percebem que são temas contemporâneos que estão sendo tratados com um pano de fundo histórico.
