Diretor quer bater "Avatar" e se vingar de quem criticou "Quinto Elemento'"
O diretor francês Luc Besson apresentou durante a Comic-Con, nesta quinta-feira (21), seu próximo filme, "Valerian", que estreia exatamente daqui a um ano, no dia 21 de julho de 2017. O longa-metragem é baseado em um quadrinho homônimo francês de ficção criado por Jean-Claude Mézières e Pierre Christin, e tem como protagonistas os personagens Valérian and Laureline que viajam pelo espaço tempo.

The Franch director Luc presented during the Comic-Con, on this Tuesday (21th) his next film, Valerian, which will debut exactly in one year from now, on 21th of July in 2017. The long term is based on a Franch homonic comic of fiction created by Jean and Pierre, and have as protagonists the characters Valerian and Laurine who travell by time space.

O painel sobre o filme na Comic-Con contou com a participação do diretor, de sua mulher Virginie Silla e dos atores Dane DeHaan (Valérian) e Cara Delevingne (Laureline). Como se trata de um novo filme, Besson foi bastante didático ao apresentar o seu trabalho. No telão, ele mostrou como foram criados os personagens e os cenários, altamente coloridos e elaborados.
Após a apresentação de algumas cenas inéditas, deu para notar que o longa-metragem terá bastante momentos de humor e um ritmo frenético de ação, bastante semelhante com o "O Quinto Elemento", de Besson e com design de Jean-Claude Mézières.
The panel about the film in Comic-Con had the support of the participation of director, and his woman Virgine and of actors Dane and Cara. As it is about a new film, Besson was very didatic in presenting his work. On the big screen, he showed how the characters and scenario were created, highly coloured and elaborated.
After the presentation some unexpected scenes, it gives us an idea that the long term will have a lot of humour moments and a frenetic rhythm of action, very similar to the fifth element of Besson and with the design of Jean Clause.

"Na época do 'Quinto Elemento' eu conheci o trabalho de Mézières e comprei os direitos de 'Valerian'. Escrevi o roteiro e quando fui filmar veio 'Avatar'. Joguei meu roteiro todo fora e escrevemos tudo de novo. O filme tem uns 10% de humanos e uns 90% de aliens", explicou Besson. "Esse filme é a minha vingança para aqueles que me criticaram em "O Quinto Elemento'".
Nas cenas inéditas mostradas durante o painel, a cantora Rihanna aparece rapidamente em um cabaré prestes a fazer um striptease para o personagem Valérian. Dane DeHaan tentou explicar o que acontece. "É selvagem. Não tenho palavras. A única coisa que posso dizer é que vocês ficarão com inveja. Muita inveja", disse.

Após a exibição do vídeo, o público aplaudiu de pé, pela primeira vez durante os painéis que ocorreram nesta quinta-feira na Comic-Con. Uma fã de ficção científica ficou tão empolgada que pediu para o diretor explicar com quais materiais criou os figurinos dos personagens porque ela queria ideias para o próximo cosplay.
"Há 20 anos eu era um diretor estranho. Hoje o mundo está tão estranho quanto eu. Acho que agora falamos a mesma língua", brincou Besson. A título de comparação, o diretor disse que o  "O Quinto Elemento" teve 200 cenas com efeitos especiais e "Valerian" tem 2700 cenas e 250 espécies de aliens diferentes.

Parte da ação e da comédia do filme ficou com a Cara Delevingne, cuja a personagem foi comparada com Leeloo, de Milla Jovovich em "O Quinto Elemento". "No começo, as roupas eram um pouco apertadas, mas depois a gente se acostuma", contou Cara. No longa, sua personagem é uma viajante espacial durona que enfrenta monstros e humanos.
