A senadora e pré-candidata a prefeita de São Paulo Marta Suplicy (PMDB) disse em sabatina do UOL, da "Folha de S. Paulo" e do SBT, nesta quinta-feira (28), que sua prioridade na gestão vai ser a saúde e que estuda alterar o projeto de ciclovias da gestão atual de Fernando Haddad (PT). Além disso, quer rever a recente regulamentação do app de transporte Uber.

Os taxistas não estão conseguindo pagar a prestação do carro, e o Uber também entrou [no mercado] penalizado. Isso é uma marca de improviso desse governo. Acho importante [o Uber], mas os taxistas têm que entrar também."

Na opinião de Marta, a redução da velocidade nas marginais da gestão Haddad não seria necessariamente o fator que diminuiu os acidentes de trânsito no último ano. "Tem muitas favelas em volta das marginais, ambulantes jogam tachinhas... O que incomoda são as pegadinhas, a indústria da multa. Isso que vai ter de sair de imediato. Você vai ter um radar que é mais educativo do que punitivo."

A senadora também diz se arrepender de ter implementado um imposto sobre o lixo em sua gestão como prefeita de São Paulo (2001-2005), à época no PT, o que lhe rendeu o apelido de "Martaxa". "Sim, me arrependo. Acho que naquele momento a cidade não tinha condição de ter aquela taxa [do lixo, criada para avançar na reciclagem]. [Se eleita] Vou ser uma prefeita que não vai aumentar taxas e impostos."

À época, Marta disse que um dos motivos de sua troca de legenda era a corrupção entre petistas, mas não disse ser problemático o fato de peemedebistas estarem sendo investigados pela Operação Lava Jato, como Eduardo Cunha, Renan Calheiros e Romero Jucá. "O PT tem três tesoureiros presos e decepcionou muitos dos seus eleitores. Saí por vários motivos, não foi só a corrupção, mas a destruição de um sonho. O PMDB tem gente sendo investigada, mas não tem um sistema de corrupção organizado [como o PT]", disse. Ela também disse ser favorável à cassação de Eduardo Cunha, "como todo povo brasileiro".
